Content Styles

How your video will look and feel.

Interviews – Off Camera

The subject appears to is providing their answers with their eye-line slightly off camera.

Interviews – Direct to camera

The subject provides their answers with their eye-line looking directly down the camera.

Scripted with Voiceover

These videos do not include any speaking roles, rather all information is communicated via a scripted voiceover.

Voiceover + Interviews

A mix of scripted, professionally performed voiceover and interview answers, combined with overlay content.

Presenter / Host to Camera

The talent engages directly with the audience speaking in the first-person. This can be achieved with either memorised lines, reading from a teleprompter or made up on-the-fly.

Music Video (No Dialogue)

This style uses only overlay shots combined with music and usually graphics.

Discussion – Video Podcast

Green screens, infinity white screen or custom backgrounds, our mobile studio setup achieves incredible results.

Overlay or B-roll Footage

Overlay or b-roll footage is what the viewer is shown when you can’t see people speaking on camera.

What is shown is usually directly related to what is being spoken about in an interview or scripted voiceover.

Overlay is primarily used to hide the edits and drive the story forward.

Graphics Styles

Titles and animated elements designed to enhance your video.

Lower Thirds

These appear in the lower third of the frame and are usually used to introduce people’s names and job titles.

Title Screens

Are used to break the video up and introduce new ideas, similar to chapters in a book.

Line Callouts

A line will originate from a point of interest and animate to a clear space, where text will identify what is highlighted.

Informational

Larger sections of text that can add further context or compliment what is being explained.

Animated Icons

These can provide a fun and dynamic way to visually represent potentially complex ideas.

Integrated Graphics

Are dimensional and look like they are a part of a filmed scene. They range from obviously graphical to photo realistic.

Tracked Graphics

Are integrated graphics that have been motioned tracked to a point of interest within a scene.

Masked / Integrated

These graphics are dimensional where a filmed element is masked to make it look like the graphic was present when filming.

Animated Logos

A company’s logo is broken down into its core design elements and animated to form the final logo.

Music

Most music you hear on business content will be from a library of royalty-free music suitable for commercial use.

While it is possible to use commercial music by popular artists, for most businesses the licensing costs far exceed the value the track will bring to the production.

Closed Captions and Subtitles

Make your content accessible to a wider audience.

Closed Captions

Are file-based captions that can be toggled on and off by some video players.

Simple Captions (burned in)

These captions are part of the video file and visible throughout the video.

Dynamic Captions

Popular on social media, these are a dynamic way to display captions and are a part of the video file.

Subtitles / Foreign Translations

Create accessibility and potentially expand your audience on the world’s stage with translated subtitles.

Aspect Ratios

Producing content that aligns with the platforms preferred aspect ratio will improve its performance.
